Bike Week 2024 took place in May this year. We were very lucky to have a professional come in to us for the day. Garreth Curran from the bike shop Cyclopath did some safety demonstrations with 1st-3rd class and 4th-6th.
He and the children braved the bad weather and rain to have fun fun with their bicycles. They ran drills, practised balancing and had some fun racing each other. The children worked together to name the parts of the bike as well. They learned lots and had fun!
Junior and Senior Infants took their bikes in as well. They had some fun cycling around the yard together.
