Our School Tour

18th Jun, 2021

We did not think we would be going on a school tour this year because of Covid-19. When our teacher told us we could go, we were so EXCITED! Our teachers planned a tour to Malahide Castle.

We went on Thursday 17th of June. We came to school at 8:35am and we waited for everyone to arrive to get on the bus. Our parents and all the small children in Rachael’s Room waved at us when we were driving away. Our bus drivers name was Brian.

When we got to Malahide, we had a wee picnic. Then we went to the Butterfly House. We saw giant butterflies and they were all different colours. One of them landed on Michaela’s forehead and another on Erin’s head. We left the Butterfly House and we went to the Fairy Trail. We got to run around and explore. It was great.

We had this photo taken in front of the castle and Ms. Fee danced with us.

We went to the big playground and we got to play for a long time. Ms. Minnock and Brian went to collect McDonalds and brought it back to us. We had another picnic.

We got back on the bus and came back to school. It was the best day ever. We can’t wait for next year.
